Greetings all,
I've been in south Africa for 6 weeks now. 4 of those weeks were spent in Johannesburg. Johannesburg is high about sea level, and it sits on a plateau,the air is very dry. When I was there, it was cloudy and cool in the mornings and then warm and sunny afternoons, always windy. This is spring going into summer, so weather a little unsettled. It is the only place in the world where 2 noble peace prize winners resided on the same street. I enjoyed my daily morning walks in Soweto and almost got my niece and next door neighbor to join me.
